This is the third time for Beginner’s English. Students have learned some subjects. To make the learning more interesting, relaxing, and efficient, we do some review and make sentences with practical condition. From these three students, we can clearly see the difference from their learning. Pocket teacher is a perfect tool for learning English, but we still need to create an environment to let students practice what they learn. Otherwise, keeping learning without practical practice will be easy to forget for students, especially like the boy Johnson, who never learned English before and the girl who is a slower learner.
Each time, we only have an hour for learning, but we can easily see the effect. Mia is a quick learner. Her perfect learning really stuns me. The naughty boy, Johnson, is not bad as well. To my surprise, his learning speed is quicker than Cindy. You can see Cindy always feels depressed because she is worried about falling behind. The reason why Cindy felt sad and cried because Johnson never learned English but do better than her.
What I want to show you is that these Beginner’s English materials are superb for children. The pocket teacher has many functions, such as recording, and teaching. Students can also own their recording book and be proud of showing it to their parents. Students don’t even need to wait for other slow students, but they can keep learning. From the three students, we can see Mia will finish the books very fast. It is no doubt that the more she learn, the higher her English level will be. Even though Johnson skips the basic learning of phonics, he still learn it very well. Once One day her mother wants to let him join our English class, I believe he can learn better than now. As for Cindy, she will be getting better and better with our pocket teacher as long as we can build her confidence.
If you are English teachers for children, don’t forget to spent time practicing words or sentences with students in interesting ways. We can’t just let students bury in the books without creating some fun. We need to remember boring classes will kill students’ interest in learning English.
這是第三堂入門英文課。學生已學了一些主詞。為了使這個學習更有趣、輕鬆及有效率,我們以實際的狀況做了複習並且造了句子。從這三位學生,我們可以清楚看到他們學習的差異。口袋老師對學習英文來說是很棒的,但我們還是需要創造一個環境來讓學生練習他們所學的。否則,一直學習沒有實際練習,學生是會很容易忘記的,特別是像以前從沒學過英文的Johnson和慢的學習者Cindy.
每次,我們僅學習一小時,但我們很容易看到效果。Mia是位很快的學習者。她完美的學習真的讓我驚訝。調皮的Johnson也不錯。令我驚訝的是,他的學習速度比Cindy還要快。可看到Cindy總是覺得很沮喪因為她擔心她會落後。Cindy為何覺得難過且哭哭因為Johnson從沒學過英文卻學得比她快。
我想要展示給大家看的就是這些入門的英文教材對小朋友來說是非常棒的。口袋老師有很多功能,例如錄音還會教授。學生也可擁有他們自己的錄音書籍並且很驕傲的把錄音秀給他們的家長聽。學生甚至不需要等其他慢的學習者,而是他們可以持續的學習。從這三位學生,我們就可知道Mia將很快把這幾本書學完。無庸置疑地她學的越多,她的英文程度會越來越。儘管Johnson跳過了基礎自然發音的學習,她還是學得很好。一旦有一天,他媽媽想要讓他加入我們的美語課,我相信他可以學得比現在更好的。至於Cindy,用我們的口袋老師她將會越來越棒,只要我們能建立起她的信心。
如果你們是兒童美語的英文老師,不要忘了要花時間用有趣的方式跟學生練習單字或句型。我們不能只讓學生埋首於書本而沒有創造一些樂趣。我們要記得無聊的課將扼殺學生對學習英文的興趣。
