APPC Kids School
Beginners’ English
This is a new edition for kids. The aim of the books is to build up kids’ listening and speaking ability. There are three books for each level, including a textbook, a listening book, and a workbook. The best part of them is that APPC has a pocket teacher with a lot of function in it. The pocket teacher has excellent American accent. Kids can use it to record and learn a lot of words and sentences from the textbook and the listening book. The fantastic part is that kids can have their own voice in the textbook. What an amazing book! With kids’ own voice in the book, parents will be definitely sure that their kids can really learn something from these books. At least, kids can learn how to listen, and say for the beginners. These benefits are difficult to get from the present books in the book market.
Yesterday was the first day for using APPC Kids Beginner’s English books. In order to prove the magic and wonderful effect of Beginners’ English books, Jennifer chose three kids to show the tangible testimony. The three kids are picked from my day care center. One never learned English before, called Johnson. He was a little bit naughty boy. Another called Cindy, she is a very shy girl and a slow English learner. She doesn’t have confidence for learning English, and she even told her mother she doesn’t like English at all. The other one is Mia. She is an active girl but not the smartest one in her class at school and day care center. However, she can obey what her teacher orders and follow the steps that her teacher gives her. That’s why she can learn very fast with the books and the pocket teacher. You can see these three kids have totally different learning ways and personality.
In fact, what I want to share with you is that the books are excellent but the teaching ways make them get to the more perfect state. What I want to prove is that teachers need good books, teaching aids, or teaching tools to help them. With those assistance, teachers can make each class go smoothly, just like having the pocket teacher. With the pocket teacher, kids can learn perfect accent, record, practice by themselves, and keep learning ahead without waiting for other slow classmates.
Good books for kids’ English learning are important, and skillful teachers are important as well. I try to show everybody APPC’s books and pocket teacher, and I also want to share the atmosphere and the way of teaching. As an old saying goes “Even a million piano at home, you can’t play a wonderful tune without learning skills.” To show the books and teaching tools perfectly, I will keep teaching the kids and learn from them. 這是針對小孩的新版本書籍。這些書的目標是要提升小孩的聽說能力。每一個級數有三本書，包含課本，聽力本及習作本。他們當中最棒的是APPC有一支功能很多的口袋老師點讀筆。這支點讀筆有很棒的美國腔。小孩可以用它來錄音並且從課本以及聽力本可以學很多單字和句型，最棒的部份是小孩可以在主課本裡有自己錄音的聲音。真的很神奇吧!書裡有小孩自己的聲音，父母親肯定相信他們的小孩真的能從這些書學到東西。至少，對初學者來說小孩可以學到如何聽和說。從市場上目前的書籍來說這些的好處是很難達到的。
昨天是使用APPC兒童美語入門書籍的第一天。為了證明入門書籍神奇的效果，Jennifer選了三個小孩要來展現實質具體證明。這三個小孩是從我的安親班挑選出來的；一位從沒學過英文叫作Johnson，他是一位有點調皮的小男孩。另一位叫Cindy, 她是個非常害羞的女孩也是學習很慢的英文學習者。她對於學習英文很沒信心, 她甚至告訴她媽媽，她一點也不喜歡英文。另一位是Mia，她是一位積極的女孩，但在她學校和安親班的班級裡並不是最聰明的。但是她能遵從老師所下達的命令以及能遵守老師給予她的步驟。那就是為何她用了這些書以及口袋老師，她可以學得很快的原因。從這裡你可以看出這三位小孩學習方式以及個性是完全不一樣的。
事實上，我想要跟你們分享的就是，這些書很棒但是教學的方式不同使得他們達到更完美的境界。我想要證明的是老師需要好的書，好的教具，或教學工具來幫助他們。有了這些的幫助，老師可以使得每一堂課進行得很順利，就像有了口袋老師一樣。有了口袋老師，小孩可以學習完美的腔調、錄音及自己練習，並且不需等其他學習緩慢的同學可以往前持續學習。
